SCSR 2005 Kickoff Event

Good day, gentlemen. SoCalSlopeRacing hosted our first event for 2005 at Pt.Fermin. It was a beautiful, sunny day with many in attendance. However, the wind did us minimal justice, allowing the club only a few hours of race time. We had a few new faces, and we welcome them to the club, and hope they will return for more fun and better race conditions. The new guys did get to meet and see top pilots competing and get a grasp of how a F3F event is held. With unfavorable wind conditions forecast through the region we were hoping for the best racable conditions at Pt.Fermin. The wind did allow 2 round each and the results are posted at SoCalSlopeRacing@yahoogroups.com. The schedule for 2005 is at SoCalSlopeRacing.com, noting our next event is a MOM 60" foam and glass event on Jan. 22nd. Come on out and get in on it!
